Aldebaran Shades Wins Victorian 2yo Trotter Award
Exciting 2yo Trotter Aldebaran Shades capped off a great 2yo season by being named Victorian 2yo Trotter of the year at the gala awards night conducted by Harness Racing Victoria at Tabcorp Park Melton.
Aldebaran Shades won four races from his six starts as a 2yo and finished runner up in the Group 1 Australasian Breeders Crown and The Redwood Classic run at Maryborough. His stake earnings were $47,675.00 and his best mile rate was 2.06.3MS.
Enjoying his own paddock at Aldebaran Park as he spells he is expected to return to the Racing Stables in mid December before being aimed at The Holmfield, the Vic and NSW Derby and the Australasian Breeders Crown for 3yo Trotters.
