ALDEBARAN PARK OPEN DAY 20TH SEPTEMBER 2009

The Open Day conducted at Aldebaran Park on Sunday 20th September 2009 can only be described as a resounding success. With in excess of 100 people attending through the course the day the undoubted highlight was the parading of the new resident stallion at Aldebaran Park – The magnificent Angus Hall son Eilean Donon.

Having only arrived at Aldebaran Park some six days prior his demeanour, temprement and manner was oustanding. Those in attendance were suitably impressed by him with the result being numerous bookings from well known breeders being taken on the day.
Aldebaran Park's other resident stallion Aldebaran Yankee was also paraded and was in magnificent condition and again interest on the day led to several bookings for his services this season also.

Current Group 1 champions prepared by Chris and Sharon Lang being Skyvalley and Sundons Gift were also paraded so those in attendance got to see first hand the two best trotters currently racing in Australia.

Tours of Aldebaran Park, Equisage presentations, a talk by Chris Lang of his European experiences, an opportunity to meet and talk with Graeme Lang and a talk by Warren Beale – the stable farrier for Chris Lang all provided valuable insights for those in attendance.

The presentation of the property and indeed all the horses paraded and those mares and agisted horses who were seen on the walking tours were a credit to Sharon Lang and Lisa Fazzolari who worked tirelessly to have things at their best for the day.

We look forward to the coming breeding season with anticiaption and we wish all breeders the best of luck.

On behalf of all those at Aldebaran Park we thank you for your support.
