ROYALLY-BRED ALDEBARAN YANKEE FOAL ARRIVES

This leggy harness racing filly is one of the first crop of the royally-bred Aldebaran Yankee, the foundation sire at Aldebaran Park, Nagambie, Victoria. Typical of the Aldebaran Yankee stock, the filly carries the blood of Hall of Fame broodmare Maori Miss on both sides of her pedigree.

She was born on November 14 and is owned by Gordon Meyer, of Lancefield.

Her dam, Maori Pro, a dual winner, has already left two winners to date including Salute To Wagon, a Tatlow and Vicbred heat winner.

Aldebaran Yankee is certainly leaving athletic types of foals and he isproving popular with breeders in his second year as one of the resident stallions standing with Eilean Donon (USA) at Aldebaran Park.
