A deal had been finalised for Aldebaran Park Stud to buy Skyvalley from Jim Connelly and stand the entire next season.

Skyvalley raced 47 times for 24 wins,13 placings and $322,675 in earnings. His best wins came in the Breeders Crown finals at age three and four, along with December's Group 1 Bill Collins Mile.
