ALDEBARAN PARK NEWS UPDATE JUNE 2018

The Group successes of talented duo Aldebaran Eve and Tornado Valley at Melton headlined an amazing month for our leading sire SKYVALLEY.

Aldebaran Eve, who was bred by Aldebaran Park, captured the Group 2 $30,000 Mares Trotting feature on June 2, while Tornado Valley led throughout in the Group 3 $20,000 Free-for-all in 1:59.5 on June 16, his eighth Group/Listed win in 2017/18.

A dual Vicbred champion, Aldebaran Eve (ex Aldebaran Dream NZ) rated a career-best 1:58.3 over 2240 metres in her brilliant come-from-behind win and took her stake tally to beyond $150,000.

Kyvalley Finn and Myrtle Vale, a pair of promising young trotters by SKYVALLEY, won heats of the recent Aldebaran Park Vicbred Super Series. Kyvalley Finn led in a SKYVALLEY quinella in the Bendigo heat for three-year-olds with Reils second, while Myrtle Vale took out the Geelong heat for four-year-old mares in a new lifetime mark of 2:00.

Other SKYVALLEY winners have been the three-year-old Aldebaran Pete (Bendigo), who was bred by Aldebaran Park out of Aldebaran Deegan NZ; Mr Good And Evil (Auckland, NZ), No Republic (Maryborough) and Skyflyer (Bankstown).

SKYVALLEY has sired 37 individual winners for progeny earnings of $826 ,565 in Australia and New Zealand to date this season.

Flyin Around, a three-year-old filly by YIELD BOKO and one of the first crop of the Swedish champion, notched back-to-back successes at Maryborough and Melton to advance his win tally to three. Bred and part-owned by Aldebaran Park, the filly is the first foal of the Muscles Yankee mare Aldebaran Queenie.

Imahe Man, a gelding bred by Aldebaran Park out of Kyvalley Aldebaran NZ, posted wins at Melton and Maryborough, while the Aldebaran Park owned Aldebaran Broozer NZ and three-year-old Aldebaran Bonny emerged successful at Globe Derby Park and Blenheim, NZ respectively.
