Aldebaran Park Update - May 2016

Our leading sire SKYVALLEY had a red-letter month in May siring no less than eleven individual winners of 14 races.

Sky Majesty, a talented three-year-old filly, was undoubtedly the headline performer, capturing the Aldebaran Park Starlet in 2:00.5 at Cranbourne and the Maryborough Trotters Oaks Trial (by 13 metres).

SKYVALLEY produced a winning double at Melton with Valley Ess Jay and Parallel Lines, while Black Valley won at the headquarters track as well as Charlton.

Aldebaran Eve, Blue Sky Commander and Sky Petite, SKYVALLEY’S leading stakes earner, saluted at Ballarat, Horsham and Shepparton respectively with Blue Sky Commander overcoming a 50 metre handicap.

Kyvalley Boomerang won twice during May at Bendigo and Cobram, while the three-year-old Rift Valley scored at Maryborough.

In New Zealand, SKYVALLEY was represented by the Auckland three-year-old winner Mr Good And Evil and the Dunedin victor Spotlight The Valley.EILEAN DONON chimed in with another winner in Hadrian’s Phoenix, who went in 2:00.2 in winning his fifth race at Bendigo.
