Aldebaran Park Inc. USA
Aldebaran Park Inc. 10th July 2015
Aldebaran Park Inc’s 3yo fillies have had a reasonable start to the racing season. Both Nunkeri and Malala have posted their maiden 3yo wins, with Nunkeri continuing to race in the highly competitive New York Sires Stakes Series. My Baby Belle has been sold to continue her racing in Finland.
The 2yo’s all qualified and have begun racing. Whilst we are yet to post our first 2yo win for the season, both Tech Titan and Southwind Pearl have been extremely competitive in the New Jersey Sires Stakes races. Explosive High has been placed in her only start and Brushy Rose has earned a cheque at each of her two starts in the Ohio Sires Stakes Series.
World Champion mare Mistery Woman has tested positive to Muscle Hill and is enjoying life at Millstream’s New Jersey Farm. Aldebaran Park Inc’s Kentucky based mare Aldebaran Malibu’s Yankee Glide colt is developing nicely, whilst Too Busy To Care’s Cantab Hall colt is a stunning weanling. The first progeny of both these mares will sell at the 2015 Harrisburg Yearling Sale in November of this year
Aldebaran Park Inc. Update
April is best described as the ‘month of anticipation’ in the USA. This season’s 3yo’s are about to hit the Qualifying Trials, whilst the 2yo’s continue to learn their trade ahead of trialing in June.
Aldebaran Park Inc will be represented by 2yo classic winning colt Aldebaran Eagle in the boys races, whilst Nunkeri, Malala and My Baby Belle take on the 3yo fillies. After competing against the best 2yo’s all season Aldebaran Eagle took his record of 1.55.1 when he won the International Stallion Stakes at The Red Mile. Having won in excess of $ 80,000 for the season, trainer Jonas Czernyson has him aimed at all the 3yo trotting classics. Trotting filly Nunkeri won 2 races and over $128,000 through the New York Sires Stakes races and looks to have come back as an even better 3yo. Both Malala and My Baby Belle are also working well and should be trialling towards the end of April.
Aldebaran Park Inc acquired 4 yearlings at last year’s Lexington and Harrisburg Sales and these now 2yo’s are all impressing on the training track. The only colt amongst the group, Tech Titan, a son of Muscle Hill looks above average and is currently training in 2.05. The three fillies Brushy Rose (Ohio Bred by Lionhunter), Explosive High (by Explosive Matter) and Southwind Pearl (by Muscle Hill) are all progressing well on the training track.
World Champion mare Mistery Woman, who set the World Record for a 4yo trotting mare at Lexington last October, has been retired from racing and will be bred to Muscle Hill. Aldebaran Park Inc’s Kentucky based mare Aldebaran Malibu delivered a Yankee Glide colt last week, whilst Too Busy To Care who is in foal to Cantab Hall is due to foal shortly.
Racing will commence in Mid May for the 3yo’s with Aldebaran Eagle first to step out in the New Jersey Sires Stakes Heats.
Aldebaran Park Inc. Update
Aldebaran Park Inc. horses are back in training with the last seasons stand out mares Ma Chere Hall and Mistery Woman well recovered from their let up. We look forward with anticipation to another great season ahead for these two girls. 3YO Filly Passing Jetta is up and about early and looks like the early end to her 2yo season has allowed her to grow into herself and mature nicely. 2YO Colt Aldebaran Eagle (Muscle Hill - Letsjustalkaboutme) is in the cart and progressing well.
