ALDEBARAN YANKEE
Muscles Yankee US – Maori Road A - Lindy Lane US
Consider the years and money spent to breed this colt!
Maori Princess, 11 wins from just 16 starts, was bred to then top
US trotter and sire Lindy Lane to produce Maori Road. Frozen
semen was later imported from the champion US sire Muscles
Yankee for this mare to produce the dream colt Aldebaran Yankee.
The result was a colt with natural speed, fluent action, good conformation, ideal temperament and sound fertility.
CHRIS LANG No. 1 trainer of trotters in Australia
“He only ever wanted to trot and only ever wore aluminium shoes. A great temperament, a multiple trials winner despite a paddock injury as an early two-year-old preventing us
from realising his true ability. A great type, he stands 15.3 hands. I am lucky enough to have access to some of the best bloodlines in Australasia. Breeders this season are very fortunate, never having had it so good with access to such blood. Our mares will certainly be bred to him.”
WHAT A PEDIGREE!
Aldebaran Yankee combines the blood of the best available trotting lines in the northern and southern hemispheres, through his sire Muscles Yankee US and dam Maori Road, a half-sister of Inter Dominion winner Sumthingaboutmaori. The much celebrated Maori Miss tribe is the most potent trotting family in our Stud Book.
Following on from the great deeds of our finest ever trotter Maori’s Idol, the more recent stars from this remarkable family includes Inter Dominion Champion Sumthingaboutmaori; the prolific classics winner Noopy Kiosk; smart MV trotter Tennotrump (now standing at stud) and the latest trotting star Danny Bouchea.
The dam of Aldebaran Yankee is Maori Road, daughter of Lindy Lane US, voted US 2YO of his Year before going on to become an outstanding sire of trotters there. One of his first Aussie-bred sons is dual Breeders Crown winner Kyvalley Road. Aldebaran Yankee boasts two close-up strains of the celebrated US sire Valley Victory.
It’s a pedigree that churns out real success...
Aldebaran Yankee will stand his third season at Aldebaran Park in the coming 2010/2011 season. Well patronised in his first two seasons his foals are exciting the breeders who have secured his services to him to date.
His service fee for the 2010-2011 season is $1375 incl GST (LFG).
What great value for the best trotting pedigree at stud here!
