The fastest son of the great Pine Chip, DREAM VACATION established a world record at 1:52 winning a free-for-all at The Meadowlands, defeating Lyell Creek, Dr Ronerail, Magician and company.

He earned $616,257 – a tidy sum from 17 starts – and gained international recognition finishing second to the Italian superstar Varenne in a record 1:51 Breeders Crown. He was also placed in the Maple Leaf Trot, American-National, Beacon Course Trot and Nat Ray.

DREAM VACATION personifies the term ‘stallion’s pedigree’ being a son of the world’s fastest aged trotter Pine Chip from a full sister to the great Victory Dream, sire of the all-time fastest Hambletonian winner Self Possessed.

With his oldest North American crop as five-year-olds, DREAM VACATION is the sire of world record holder Queen Serene Tr 1:51.1 ($748,602), 3YO Breeders Crown winner Susie’s Magic Tr 1:52.8 ($700,946) and World Filly Trotting Derby winner Exotic Destination Tr 1:52.2.

DREAM VACATION, from only 50 Australasian foals via frozen semen, has left 24 winners – almost a 50 percent strike rate. They are headed up by the NZ 2YO Trotter of the Year The Ultimate Galleon, the Harness Jewels victor Leighton Hest, Real Deal Yankee (NZ Hambletonian) and Dream Machine (NZ Yearling Sale Series 2YO & 3YO) and, in Australia, Aldebaran Dream (Vic.
