Aldebaran Park has recently branched out into Yearling preparation and were delighted with the sale results of yearlings prepared for the 2011 Melbourne APG Yearling Sale.

Aldebaran Park prepared three yearlings—being Lot 25 & 66 at the Premium Gold Sale and Lot 133 at the Sunday Sale.

The Aldebaran Park Yearling Preparation Team led by preparer Rosalind Fox, with Sharon Lang and Jade Walker in support did a magnificent job in the lead up to the sale.

The recent addition of the soon to roofed 'state of the art' Round Yard proved a winner and greatly assisted the team in achieving the results attained.

The Consignors – Steve Johnson (Lots 25 &33) and Jarnup Racing Pty Ltd (Lot 66) both from Western Australia were delighted with the results which were as follows:

• Lot 25 – $82,500
  Art Major USA – Like a Dame – Colt
• Lot 66 – $25,000
  Betters Delight USA – Black and Blue – Colt
• Lot 133 – $48,000
  Betters Delight USA – Stephanie Rose – Colt

To top off a great sale for the ‘Aldebaran Park Yearling Preparation Team’ preparer Rosalind Fox was awarded the judges award for best presented yearling and best presentation overall at the Premium Gold Sale, which ably upheld our slogan and mantra;
