Aldebaran Acrux Usa tops $150,000 mark - June 2025
The star on the bonny American-bred mare Aldebaran Acrux Usa, who is owned by Aldebaran Park, continues to shine…..
The daughter of three-time leading USA trotting sire Chapter Seven sent her stake earnings beyond the $150,000 plateau when she sat parked throughout winning a Free-For-All at Melton on June 14 defeating the Aldebaran Park bred mare Aldebaran Vera.
It was her sixth success on Australian soil and she is regarded as one of the best trotting mares in the country. Her win cemented a trip to the 2025 Inter Dominion Trotting Series at Albion Park – Brisbane in July which culminates in a $500,000 Group 1 Final. There is no doubt she has matured with racing and her trainer – driver Chris Svanosio is confident the she will handle the longer distance races in the series. She has now won $151,703 and with her best times of Tr 1.57.1 here in Australia and Tr 1.55.0 in the Usa she will be a welcome addition to Aldebaran Park’s Broodmare band when she finishes her racing career.
