Milestones for gifted Aldebaran Park pair - June 2026

The Aldebaran Park sired duo Golden Sunset Tr 1.53.7 – 22 wins - $255,245 (by SKYVALLEY Nz) and Mystery Fred Tr 2.00.3 – 10 wins - $103,582 (by ALDEBARAN EAGLE USA) both reached important milestones in June 2026.

Golden Sunset lifted her stake earnings to beyond $250,000 when she overcame a 30-metre handicap to win at Albion Park on June 6 and she is SKYVALLEY’s second richest female, while Mystery Fred topped the $100,000 mark with his success from a 40-metre handicap at Pinjarra on June 29.

Mystery Fred collected three wins for the month in Western Australlia – two at Pinjarra and one at Gloucester Park – and has won six of his 11 outings this season.

SKYVALLEY NZ was represented by seven individual winners in June and is equal second on this season’s national winner’s list and sixth on stakemoney.

Besides Golden Sunset, SKYVALLEY NZ sired the Bendigo winners Rocky Valley (Tr 1:57.5 – 7 wins - $61,230), Aldebaran Abel (Tr 1:57.7) – new lifetime mark and Karbine (Tr 1:58.8), Rarity Rock (Cranbourne), Attracted (Maryborough) and Kiss At Midnight (Geelong).

SKYVALLEY NZ also figured as the damsire of the outstanding four-year-old gelding I Am Hellbound, whose successes included the Listed $30,600 Yamamoto Trotters Mile in 1:53.9 at Menangle and The Stellar Square in 1:58 at Albion Park.

ALDEBARAN EAGLE USA led in three winners in Mystery Fred, Robert John (Ballarat and Charlton) and Reoffender (Globe Derby Park), who has won seven of his eight lifetime starts.

Aldebaran Park’s frozen stallion CALGARY GAMES Swe enjoyed a very productive month in North America with no less than four feature race winners in USA and Canada.

Kngtstlkrs Games captured the Grade 3 $82,750 Casual Breeze at Woodbine Mohawk Park, Ontario in 1:52.8, Busy Miss Lissy won the Grade 3 $55,000 New York New York Mile at Yonkers Raceway in 1:54.2, while the two-year-old colt Delivery Boy and the three-year-old Zephyr Kemp both won $40,000 legs of the Kentucky Sires Stakes at Oak Grove Raceway in 1:56.8 and 1:53.2 respectively.

Aldebaran Park bred five individual winners for the month. They were Aldebaran Fonz (Majestic Son Can-Sultry Lady USA), a winner in a career-best 1:57.5 at Albion Park, the three-year-old filly Aldebaran Jazmine (Muscle Hill USA-Endsino), Aldebaran Abel (Father Patrick USA-Aldebaran Aliza), Aldebaran Marcus (Southwind Frank USA-Naked Majesty) and Robert John (ALDEBARAN EAGLE USA-Aldebaran Honey).

In further news, the Aldebaran Park purchased yearling filly Up The Mountain SWE, (To be renamed Aldebaran Nicole SWE) who is trained and driven by Oskar J Andersson Gyllenberg – OJA Racing – with his wife – Paula Gyllenberg continues her breaking in process and so far, so good. We look forward to her progression in the coming 12 months.
