More Group 1 glory for Rockinwithattude - July 2024
The bonny 4yo ALDEBARAN EAGLE USA mare Rockinwithattitude – Tr 1.57.1 - $434,642 – 18 wins - proved herself the top four-year-old trotter of the current season when she won the $150,000 The Great Square at Albion Park.
It was her fifth success at Group 1 level, and she defeated the best three and four-year-olds in the country after being required to overcome a wide barrier draw. Her mile rating of 1:57.1 for the 2138 metres mobile trip was a new lifetime mark.
Her career record is now 18 wins and seven placings in 31 starts.
Rockinwithattitude’s stunning triumph put an exclamation mark on another red-letter month for Aldebaran Park and its powerful sire roster.
Among the other highlights were the Metropolitan homebred quinella in the Lightfoot Laurels at Melton, Victoria with Aldebaran Vera Tr 1.54.5 – 9 wins - $134,830 - (Trixton Usa - Kyvalley Aldebaran NZ) and Aldebaran Miley Tr 1.57.9 - $119,865(Father Patrick Usa - Mason Magic), along with Group 1 winner Aldebaran Zeus Tr 1.52.6 - $499,862.00 – 19wins - (Muscle Hill Usa - Zoia Boko Swe) who won the Aldebaran Park Free-for-all at Melton, Victoria in 1:54 in a great return to the winners circle.
