The Aldebaran Park stallions SKYVALLEY NZ, the leading colonial sire for many years, and ALDEBARAN EAGLE USA, the premier sire of three-year-olds last season, have started the new year with a bang.

Dexta the record breaker - December 2023

The Aldebaran Park bred and owned four-year-old Aldebaran Dexta - $49,781 - (ALDEBARAN EAGLE USA - Aldebaran Deegan NZ) established fresh Track Records for the 2230 metres and 2645 metres standing start at Globe Derby Park in South Australia on his way to stringing together three more consecutive wins in December to take his winning streak to six in succession.

Rockinwithattitude is top three-year-old filly - November 2023

Rockinwithattitude – T 1.57.9, a daughter of this season’s Australian leading three-year-old sire ALDEBARAN EAGLE USA, is rated the top three-year-old trotting filly of the year, particularly after her runaway win in the $75,000 Group 1 Breeders Crown Final for Trotting fillies at Melton on 25th November 2023.

What a month for our brilliant but ill-fated stallion Aldebaran Eagle USA!

The son of Muscle Hill USA from the mare Letsjustalkaboutme USA produced six individual winners during October and has vaulted him to the top of this season’s national three-year-old sire premiership.

Aldebaran Park winners everywhere! - September 2023

Aldebaran Park bred and raised winners in three different States in September 2023!

Undoubtedly the highlight was the Group 1 winner Keayang Ignite T 1.57.8 – 6 starts for 5 wins (Angus Hall USA - Aldebaran Revenue) who returned to the track after an absence of almost 4 years a start earlier - and Group 1 winner Aldebaran Keepa NZ T 1.56.6 – 9 wins (Kadabra USA - Another Love NZ) running 1-2 at Melton on September 23. Both were bred and raised by Aldebaran Park in Australia and New Zealand respectively. A few days later Aldebaran Keepa NZ went one better capturing a heat of the Tornado Valley Trot at Melton and lifting her stake tally above $140,000.

Skyvalley NZ winners everywhere! - August 2023

Aldebaran Park resident sire SKYVALLEY NZ had a red-letter month in August with seven winners in three different States!

Heading the vanguard was the homebred Aldebaran Gwen T 1.59.7 (ex Aspenglow USA), whose success at Globe Derby Park on August 26 was her ninth for the season and she is now the winningest Trotting mare in Australia to date in 2023.
