Aldebaran Park flagship SKYVALLEY has produced the winners of more than $1.4-million to date from his first three crops.
In the 2016/17 season SKYVALLEY has left 17 individual winners and $185,000 progeny earnings to rank as the second leading Australian-bred trotting stallion.
February is traditionally yearling sales month in Australia and New Zealand and Aldebaran Park is again right to the forefront.
We are offering two exceptionally bred trotting yearlings at the NZ Premier Yearling Sale in Christchurch on February 21 and 22 and two pacing fillies and a colt at the Australian Pacing Gold sale at Oaklands Junction on Sunday, February 5.
Aldebaran Park had close breeding ties with winners of two Victorian Horse of the Year awards for 2015/16.
Kyvalley Kyrie, the 2YO Trotting Filly of the Year, was bred by Aldebaran Park out of the Group 1 Breeders Crown placegetter Aldebaran Maori, while Maori Time, the Aged Trotting Mare of the Year, is from the Stud-owned mare Sundonna.
Unique double at VSTA Awards
Aldebaran Park was named 2015/16 Victorian Breeder of the Year and our resident stallion SKYVALLEY received the Victorian Sire of the Year award at the annual Victorian Square Trotters Association Awards Night.
While Sky Petite, a daughter of SKYVALLEY, was named the 2015/16 Victorian Racemare of the Year.
