Wow, what a month for Aldebaran Park – both on and off the track!

Tornado Valley, a New Zealand-bred son of our champion sire SKYVALLEY, took the trotting world by storm with three wins – including two at Group level – in the space of 19 days at Melton and is now rated the best square-gaiter in the country.

1:51.5! Simply stunning

Maori Time set the trotting world abuzz with her amazing 1:51.5 triumph in the Group 1 $50,000 NSW Trotters Mile at Menangle, slicing 1.7 seconds off the former Australasian mile record.

Aldebaran Park, who owns Maori Time’s dam, Sundonna, is offering a full brother to Australasian’s fastest ever trotter as Lot 55, Aldebaran Stephan, at the Australasian Premier Trotting Sale at Tabcorp Park Melton on March 11.

Skyvalley is leading trotting sire

Our champion sire SKYVALLEY is the leading living sire of the number of races won in Australia this season (to February 2) with 33 wins. He is also equal second in respect of individual winners with 17.

SKYVALLEY’s progeny has amassed more than $300,000 in stakes already this season to again rank him in the top bracket of trotting sires.

Skyvalley winners everywhere!

SKYVALLEY Nz, the leading Australian-based trotting stallion again this season and the leading living trotting sire, left seven winners during December on both sides of the Tasman and as at end December 2017 ranks No.2 in Australia behind Sundon on the Trotters All aged List.

Skyvalley sires season’s first 3YO winner!

Our resident champion stallion SKYVALLEY sired the first three-year-old winner of the season when Flash Kyvalley led throughout and soundly trounced his rivals on debut at Kilmore.

Bred and owned by Jim Connelly, who raced SKYVALLEY throughout his spectacular career, the gelding ranks as a full brother to Kyvalley Boomerang 1:57.4 ($108,743).
