Big Vicbred Platinum double! - December 2024 / January 2025

The Aldebaran Park stallions SKYVALLEY NZ and ALDEBARAN EAGLE USA left the winners of two of the four divisions of the Vicbred Platinum Homegrown Classic at Melton in December.

Black type winners galore! - November 2024

Aldebaran Park bred and sired performers won important races in two different States in November.

Heading the vanguard are the brilliant ALDEBARAN EAGLE USA youngsters Gatesy’s Gem Tr 1.57.5 and Reoffender. Gatesy’s Gem, the second richest two-year-old filly of the season, extended her record to six wins from nine starts when she took out the $20,000 Aldebaran Park 2YO Trotting Mile in 1:58.2 at Bendigo.

Feature Treble for Aldebaran Park - October 2024

Aldebaran Park had close breeding links to important winners in three different States in October.

Aldebaran Zeus Tr 1.52.6 (Muscle Hill USA - Zoia Boko Swe), who was bred and is owned by Aldebaran Park and raced on lease with Tracey Cullen and Melinda and Danny Thackeray, won twice over the flying mile at Menangle in 1:53.2 and 1:54.4. In the latter win, the Listed Tony and Jill McGrath Trot, the six-year-old entire earned a golden ticket to the 2024 Sydney Inter Dominion in December.

New winners by Skyvalley NZ - September 2024

The leading colonial stallion SKYVALLEY NZ was represented by four ‘new’ winners in September 2024. The quartet are the two-year-old Alrighty, the three-year-old Mac Flick, the Melton winner Spanish Rizardo and The Nightingale.

The bonny 4yo ALDEBARAN EAGLE USA mare Rockinwithattitude – Tr 1.57.1 - $434,642 – 18 wins - proved herself the top four-year-old trotter of the current season when she won the $150,000 The Great Square at Albion Park.
