Aldebaran Park Update - June 2016

SKYVALLEY sired three heat winners of the rich Vicbred Super Series at Maryborough and Bendigo.

Sky Petite, won was undefeated in three outings during June, and the Aldebaran Park-bred Aldebaran Deebee both won heats of the Vicbred 4YO series at Maryborough, while Sky Majesty captured a heat of the Vicbred 3YO series at Bendigo, her fifth win to date.

Blue Sky Commander¸ a New Zealand record holder, hoisted a new lifetime mark of 1:57,4 in his impressive Melton on June 18.

The SKYVALLEY duo Ruby Pinevale (Geelong) and Parallel Lines (Shepparton) both registered their sixth lifetime successes, while a ‘new’ three-year-old winner was Sky Me A River, who saluted at Ararat.

Aldebaran Daisy, an EILEAN DONON mare bred and owned by Aldebaran Park, also notched her sixth win at Globe Derby Park.

While Aldebaran Macha, a pacer bred and owned by Aldebaran Park, took a new lifetime mark of 1:54.7 winning at Menangle on June 8, his 14th victory and advancing his stakes tally to over $90,000.

A heat of the Aldebaran Park Monte was conducted at Geelong with Alison Alford and Kima Frenning combining to win again with Miracle.

Riccardo, a two-year-old pacing gelding by Bettor Delight USA out of Aldebaran Park’s broodmare Our Awesome Lover NZ, won at his second start in 1:56.9 over the flying mile at Ashburton, New Zealand on June 5. The youngster is prepared by Mark Purdon and Natalie Rasmussen for Melbourne owners Bill and Jean Feiss.
