Aldebaran Park were firmly in the spotlight at last month’s Inter Dominion carnival at Albion Park.
Golden Sunset Tr 1.53.7, a daughter of resident sire SKYVALLEY NZ, provided the first highlight winning the opening heat of the Inter Dominion Trotting series from the front end. It was her 18th lifetime success and lifted her stake tally to just shy of $200,000.

NSW Trotters Derby-Oaks Double - May 2025
Brilliant ALDEBARAN EAGLE USA filly Gatesy’s Gem duplicated the feat of Rockinwithattitude 2 years earlier when she captured the Group 1 $75,000 NSW Trotters Derby and Group 1 $75,000 NSW Trotters Oaks at Menangle. In winning the Oaks she put up a new lifetime mile rating of 1:57.2 over 2300 metres from the mobile.
